⭐️ 1 Star Extremely disappointing experience. I called ahead of time and spoke directly with someone who told me that they had plenty of what I was looking for. Based on that conversation, I got my kids in the car and drove an entire hour to come to this location. When I arrived, I was told, “I’m sorry, we’re closed.” What makes this even more frustrating is that the person I spoke with on the phone never mentioned that they were closing early. If I had been told that, I obviously would not have wasted an hour of driving, my time, and expensive gas just to arrive and be turned away. I understand that businesses sometimes have to close early, but when a customer specifically calls ahead and speaks to an employee, the least you can do is provide accurate information. Knowing that I was driving an hour and still allowing me to make that trip without mentioning the early closing was extremely inconsiderate. Gas is not cheap, my time is valuable, and getting my children in the car for a two-hour round trip is not something I take lightly. After speaking with someone beforehand, I genuinely expected that I would at least be accommodated or given a heads-up before making that drive.

I have been a loyal customer of this store for over 10 years, and I have always been happy with the service. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing. The store was using a number system because it was busy. My number was 30. I heard someone call my number, but when I went to the counter, the employee told me he had already moved on to number 31 and that I had missed my turn. A few moments later, they called number 32, so I explained that my number was 30 and that my turn had been skipped. Instead of trying to help, I was told, “It’s not my responsibility,” and everyone ignored me while they continued serving customers who came after me. The only positive part of my experience was one employee who noticed what had happened and offered to prepare my order. I truly appreciate her kindness. I’m not writing this review because mistakes can’t happen—they can happen anywhere. I’m writing it because of the way the situation was handled. No one apologized or made any effort to fix the problem until one employee stepped in. After being a loyal customer for more than 10 years, I expected much better customer service. As fresh as they come and staff is extremely friendly and helpful. But it can get as pricey as they are. Bought the same exact red snapper and same weight but half the price in the twin cities. Again probably because its fresshhh and cleaned.

You can never go wrong by not going to the fish market. The meat is very thick and you're eating fish. Not nothing from Walmart that tilapia is so thin. I recommend anyone to go to the fish market you will not be disappointed.
